Today, I couldn't find the remote control to the AppleTV (a near tragedy), which prompted an in-depth search under the couch and chair cushions. 

The cracks next to the arms are very deceptive.  If you stick your hand down in them, there are big 6-inch-plus deep garbage-collecting pockets.  This is all the stuff I retrieved from them today.  I haven't seen that remote or the two chair-arm covers since we lived in Michigan.
