From February 2018. I came to UT from TX to plan Jess and McKay's wedding, and the two lovebirds took me out to a movie (The Post) one night. Such a good memory.

Joey likes to follow me around all day, but Olive tends to do her own thing. This is where I found Her Majesty this morning.

I came home from a crazy day of subbing, baseball, then the high school ballroom concert, and found these two faces waiting for me. Jess and McKay are in New Orleans, so we get the doggies for a sleep over until next Wednesday.
It was the best welcome ever.

Luke's answer to Morp with Raegan. He left this poster on her porch, which said his answer was in the "flours." After ten-ish minutes, during which she opened the "flours" and dug around for an answer in vain, he rang her doorbell again and said, "Sorry. I meant THESE flowers."
Her response? "I hate you."
A raging success.

I subbed today at Luke's high school, and after I checked out at the office, I found myself following these two love birds in the hall. I think if he'd known I was there, Luke would've dropped Raegan's hand like a hot potato. Or maybe not. Sheesh.

Phase 3 of the Ballroom Dance reunion: thinking back on all the fantastic conversations and laughs and riding the high of being with old friends. My friend Suraj said it best:
"This
past week the BYU Ballroom Dance Company had an Alumni Reunion. It was
wonderful to see friends, past room mates and dance partners from 30
years ago. In catching up with them the words of Alma the younger came
to mind when he was reunited with the Sons of Mosiah: Alma said what I
felt “What added more to [my] joy, they were still [my brothers and
sisters] in the Lord.” What I saw reflected in the stories, and the memories
we shared was a profound gratitude for the Son of God and His tender
mercies to allow all of us to experience being on the BYU Ballroom Dance
Touring Company together. #BecauseOfHim, I can have joy."

I'm not sure this captures how DIRTY he was after work today. I saw him and burst out laughing! He's the cutest.

Yes, I am that obsessed. I do the old-school book for Luke's baseball games at the request of his coach. Today, the coach wasn't there, but I still did it. He's in Africa on a bucket-list safari hunt, and he had me text him updates inning by inning. At the end, I sent him photos of both teams' pages so he could see how the game went.
As you can see, Luke had a triple in the sixth inning. That was really fun to record.

The Cedar Valley Frosh team had practice this morning IN THE SNOW, and their coach was late. So we crammed as many players as we could into my Durango to keep warm until practice started.
