I picked Brad and Luke up from the deer hunt and we boogied to Vegas for another baseball tournament. This was the first time Luke has seen the strip. He was NOT impressed.

It's the deer hunt, so Brad and the boys are in the mountains with my dad and brothers. This leaves me and my women folk home to party (I love the deer hunt), so Mom and I went over to Jami's tonight to play games.
This is my Quiddler hand. I KNOW!!

Jess gave me the CUTEST fall basket, including these mums, so I was inspired to do a bit of fall decor. Are they just the best color? Thanks to Jess, my front porch is no longer naked.

Yesterday was my mom's 75th birthday, and tonight we threw a big party. This is the room all set up for a big family celebration, which was awesome. My mom later said it was the best night of her life.

We went by the house today after church and made the sad discovery that our garage will not be deep enough to fit Brad's truck. This is a very, very sad Brad.

This is a blast from the way-back past. This was the photo we sent for Christmas cards in 1997. Babies, all of us.

Now that they're framing the house, I keep getting texts from Zach the builder clarifying things. Yes, we do want a staircase from the upper deck. Here, please.

Luke talked today in stake conference. Stake Freaking Conference! He wore the tie his seminary teacher Bro. Evans gave him last year, and it must've been lucky because Luke nailed it! He was by far the best speaker. Even the visiting area authority quoted him at the end.

Brad and I had a hot date to the Cedar Valley Homecoming Game. So many teenagers. So, so, so many teenagers.

Throwback from March 2020. I was in UT for Monica's wedding, and went to see Emma with Jami and Mom. Little did we know, the world was about to shut down for Covid.

I've been subbing at Cedar Valley High School twice a week lately, which means I get to spend quality time in the car with Shmukie. Now that he has his driver's license, this doesn't happen much.

I met Adam in Provo this morning for brunch, but did I remember to snap a photo? No, no I did not. So this is a photo of me and Adam in November 2017.

Today is Labor Day, though we didn't do anything noteworthy, so I thought I'd post a pic from a past Labor Day. This was in 1999, taken on the front lawn of the Larson farm in Garland with my Grandpa and Grandma Darrington.
...although, now that I look at it, this must have been taken on Memorial Day. Oh well. Still cute.

As we were driving up to Layton for Zoey's baptism, Luke reminded us that Zoey was born during his baptism eight years ago. Both baptisms took place in the same font, too, so I had to get a photo of the Baptism Besties.

Tonight was "white lie night" at the Cedar Valley football game. All the students were supposed to wear a white t-shirt with a lie about themselves written on it. Luke got clever. His shirt says "This is a white shirt"--or at least it did before his buddy Gideon ripped it apart.
