One of the best things about Christmas in Germany is the Christmas markets.  This evening, Brad and I took the boys to the market at Charlottenburg Schloss.  It was cold and crowded, but still magical in an old-fashioned Christmas sort of way.  The market had tons of booths selling food, hot chocolate, hot wine, and lots of hand-made gifts and traditional German Christmas decorations.  There was even a section with kids' carnival rides and a track for the boys to ride Segways.  We were only there for about an hour and a half, but it was long enough to drink hot chocolate, ride some rides, and buy a super cute little ceramic German house.
