This afternoon, Adam had baseball practice, and I couldn't resist getting a photo of this sign on the fence. Everything in Berlin is enclosed by fences - private homes, schools, and (obviously) sports fields. That is because there are WILD PIGS everywhere that like to dig up grass and generally scare the pants off people. The first time I saw one, I was driving in my car, and he just sort of sauntered onto the road, blocking my path. He was HUGE - his back was taller than the hood of my car - and he had a nasty, whiskery face and big tusks. Yes, an R.O.U.S.! I couldn't help but scream, then sit and pant frantically until the Wildschwein decided to move out of the road.
