Chotchke Holder

This winter, I spent several hours working with my friend LeeAnne on this cabinet for her family room. She designed it, and then we built it from scratch. I love buying wood at Lowe's and having the workers there look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them I'm building an actual piece of furniture. Who's crazy now?

Girl Power!

Splash Village

During Spring Break, we went to a nearby waterpark called Splash Village. I think all the kids had a great time (except for Luke, who either moped on the deck or lazed in the hot tub).

Adam's birthday

In February, Adam turned seven! I know mothers are supposed to say they can't believe their child is that age, but in Adam's case, I can. He has been about 8 years old in my mind for a couple of years now - probably because I just assume he is as mature as Jess and Pep. So, next year, he will finally be officially the age I treat him.

Pepper's basketball

This winter, Pepper played on his school's 3rd grade basketball team. He had a ball (no cheezy pun intended)! It was especially fun because Brad was one of the coaches. It was good for Pep because he has spent a lot of time shooting hoops in the driveway, but he didn't have much experience playing with other actual players. He played his heart out every Saturday, and I think he even made a basket once!

Crazy hair day

The boys' school had Crazy Hair Day in February, so we got some green spray. They thought it was sooooo cool!
