Today was our last day at the lake, and The Men spent some quality time discussing the status of the water.  It looked choppy from here, but they went out on the boat anyway.  Unfortunately, it was even choppier up close.  But, at least they tried.

Some of us ladies checked out the Raspberry Days Fair and had much more luck.

After a final La Beau's lunch, we came back to the cabin to load up the cars for home.  You can see how excited we all were to leave...

We headed down to spend one more day with Brad's family.  When we got to Layton, this spread was waiting for us.  Haley's family was there to celebrate Gaber's birthday--I'd say we timed that pretty well, eh?

Happy birthday Gabers!!

More Bear Lake Fun.

How many times has this room seen this scene?  I can remember sitting on this floor in a line with my cousins, braiding each other's hair.

And, just when I thought today couldn't be any better...

The only thing better than seeing Juanito Bandito at Bear Lake is seeing it TWICE.  Tonight was especially fun because he picked my sister Jodi to be the audience member he talked to throughout the show.  Every time he said something to "Chodi", we all cracked up laughing.

The kids began today by making their Bear Lake shirts.

Project Runway, eat your heart out!

It was a great day for boating, so we spent the bulk of the day on the lake.

The lake was mostly empty, but we did manage to find Jason and his boat-load of people.

Erik was determined to give wakeboarding a try and he stood up on his third try.

Luke was less determined to try, but Brad decided he was going to do it.  So he did.

I think Luke preferred surfing with his dad.

That evening back at the cabin, the kids re-established Woodsville.

Steak Night--a grand tradition.

Pretty much a perfect day.
