Have you ever had a perfect moment in time when your worlds collide and it works beautifully?  This was such a moment.  My family met my friends for Thai Wednesday, and we had a delightful lunch with lots of laughing and talking over delicious food.

My mom and sisters with me in front of Good Time, the Place Where Thai Tuesday Magic Happens.

After lunch, my family and I went into the city to see the sites everyone has to see when they come to Berlin.  First, we hit the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, where many photos were taken.

Clearly, I was more interested in my visitors than in the sites we were seeing, since all my photos are of my family taking pictures of said sites rather than the sites themselves.

From there, we walked over to the Memorial to Murdered Jews of Europe.

Ashley by the segments of the Berlin Wall at Potsdamer Platz.

Finally, I couldn't help but snap a shot of Jami and Jen chilling like an old married couple in Pepper's bed.

They're here!!!!

Tonight, I picked up my mom, sisters, and sisters-in-law at the airport.  I have been dreaming about this moment for months, when these women would be sitting at my kitchen table in Berlin.  Since we've moved here, there have been many, many times when I'd see something and think "Oh, my sisters would love that" or "My sisters would think this is hilarious."  But, it seemed impossible that ALL of them would be able to come, let alone at the SAME TIME.  So, when Mom called in January and told me they were all planning to come for a visit, I went through the roof.  This week is going to be awesome!

Today was the First Lawn Mow of the Season.

When Adam did his section, he insisted that he couldn't empty the bag without Luke's help.  Oh brother.  I'm sure this was Adam's way of making sure Luke didn't get out of helping.

We had an impromptu BBQ tonight, and when I saw these three handsome boys sitting in a row, I couldn't help but snap a picture.

Our Saturday was once again dominated by baseball, but I think I've overdone the baseball posts for this week.  So, this photo may be boring, but at least it's not baseball-related.

It occurred to me today when we came home from the baseball games (see, I can't help the baseball references - sorry) that I've walked through this front door thousands of times in the three years we've lived here.  It seems appropriate that I have a photo to remember how it feels to come "home" in Germany.

Today was our last morning of seminary.  We are officially finished with the Old Testament.

When I made up the lesson schedule last Fall, I was surprised to see that even with school breaks, there were only enough lessons to fill until the end of April.  I suppose I could have drawn some out and given a few lessons two days, but since our family and J's family are both moving this Spring, I figured we'd all appreciate being done with seminary by May.

Quite frankly, I'm pretty proud that we made it all the way through without bloodshed.  There were a few mornings when Jessica looked very tempted to break the sixth commandment.

After-school crash.
