Today, we were in Palma de Mallorca. All of us spent the day in Marineland, a little Seaworld-type park. It was a kind of gray and rainy, but we still had a great time together looking at marine animals and birds.
The kids especially liked the stingray tank. Brad kept freaking them
out by putting his hand in the water and touching the stingrays.
In the aquarium, we saw some sharks and spent a good amount of time finding Nemo:
There was a very fun bird show put on by two pirates:
This bird was the captain - that's why he got the cushy deck chair.
The parrots swab the deck.
This pirate was very handsome. Jessica thought this was the Cute Boy Show That Also Included Birds.
After the show, the pirates brought the birds over to eat out of the kids' hands.
Luke was less than enthusiastic at first.
But, eventually he thought it was pretty cool.
We also got to watch a sea lion and dolphin show:
The dolphins tossed the trainer over the rope.
All in all, a very enjoyable day!
