Yesterday, Luke's coach put him in to pitch in their game against Uintah High.  Luke has pitched here and there in other seasons, but this was his first time on the mound this year, and he was cool as a cucumber. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck!

Today one of my former seminary students got married, so I went to his reception held in Sandy and got to talk to these lovely ladies from my Texas ward, Michelle Baker and Amy Benson.

And then, to complete my Texas Memory Lane experience, I got stopped by a train driving home. Yee haw, y'all.

One of the best perks of living here is that I get to go watch Jami's kids' games, too. This is Zack's 8U baseball game from the weekend.
